Frankie Goes To Hollywood were THE band of 1984. Of course, we’d known about them in Liverpool for a while through appearances at clubs and the Larks in the Park festival. And I remember Holly and Paul from the Eric’s days (in Big in Japan and the Spitfire Boys respectively).
