I saw The Creatures on this tour too, at The Town and Country Club, from memory. There was a real warmth and purity to it. Can't wait for your book, Penny.

More and more there is something that fascinates me about the Banshees, I know this is The Creatures but think we all need to know more about these influential people, looking forward to his book, from what I’ve heard he doesn’t hold back

Yes, it's pretty hard-hitting.

Once put them on the cover of Flexipop - ostensibly a teenie mag! Great piece, Penny.

Thanks, Kris. By the way, I meant to send you a link to this podcast which mentions ZigZag as one of the few places you could get info about punk in the early days. It's quite near the beginning. https://urbanistamagazine.uk/jeff-young-on-wild-twins/?fbclid=IwY2xjawLnYspleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHszF02gBSDmHwDRNf22CWR2C05bu1e1hgfvyTof_5UIcXrJ57mR4tnHyWI9H_aem_IsCLQwmqxhkCjjRoZuk23A

PS You inspired me to put on their greatest hits while I procrastinate further, and...I'm warming to her...which I suppose is a good thing, no?

A book, you say? That's something to look forward to, Penny!

Hmm...I just can't warm to Siouxsie, not even a little bit, and I saw her a couple of times right at the very beginning, but all that strident 'marching' to Love In A Void and Make Up (To Break Up) with a swastika armband, to boot, didn't do it for me, sadly. Never saw the John McGeoch version, though, which was a shame.

Very fond of Kiss Them For Me, Susan, if that helps...ha-ha!
